West Wittering
West Wittering near Chichester in West Sussex, is a place I love to visit. This is a beach which I visited many times as a boy and a place which continues to draw me in. West Wittering beach is a magical place and is always different due to the changing tide, time of year and effects of tide and current to the landscape. Walking along from West Wittering beach, brings you to East Head.
East Head is the sand dune spit situated at the eastern side of the entrance to Chichester Harbour. It is a stunning example of a natural and dynamic coastal feature which is of great interest to environmentalists and ecologists because of its fragile nature. East Head is managed by The National Trust.
